Adform’s Monthly First-Party ID Adoption Update
With the discontinuation of third-party cookies in Chrome, the industry is starting to focus on first-party IDs and what they can mean as a solution to cookie disappearance.
In this article from Adform, they outline the beginning of their first-party ID collaborations and how they are setting up the foundations to support a majority adoption of first-party IDs by mid-2021.
Key initial results from internal benchmarking of these projects are showing a ‘2x increase in CTR in Ads viewed via Safari’ and a ‘20% increase for publishers selling first-party inventory on Safari’.
